Adventure joins nature near Australia’s Gold Coast. Enjoy a comfortable outback adventure in the rainforest at Cedar Creek Lodges at Thunderbird Park on Tamborine Mountain. Cedar Creek Lodges at Thunderbird Park occupies 112-hectares of unspoilt rainforest. The property is ideal for day trips and longer holidays.

Enjoy a mountain adventure, a romantic escape, a family holiday or a conference for up to 100 delegates. Discover ancient rainforest, a range of accommodation styles and a raft of activities just 35 minutes drive from the Gold Coast and less than an hour from Brisbane.

Thunderbird Park has the world’s largest deposit of gemstone-filled thundereggs. Find treasure and meet Rockodile, the local rock expert. Take the challenge of the Adventure Parc ropes course. There are 69 elevated challenges and more than 30 different jungle games. Climb cable ladders, balance on rope bridges, catch a flying fox, crawl through tunnels, manoeuvre on suspended trunks or jump from great heights.

Go horse trail riding, bush walking, abseiling, rock climbing, or play laser skirmish. Guests can explore the natural bushland along the walking tracks, swim in the resort pool or natural rock pools, play mini golf, volleyball or tennis. Yoga, tai chi and body treatments can be arranged.

Have a barbecue breakfast with the birds, take lunch at leisure in the licensed Rainforest Bistro, or enjoy relaxed dining after dark. The Rainforest Bistro serves gourmet food and wine by candlelight on Friday and Saturday evenings.
